Communication between the home and school is essential for a successful first year of schooling experience. Monthly brochures will be going home, packed with information about all that's happening. There will be information related to curriculum and important dates to remember so you can be involved and support your child's success in Kindergarten.
A brochure will arrive in your child's Communication Folder each month. Please sign and return the slip that is attached.
Your September brochure will be in your child's folder.
Please refer to this brochure each month for important dates and information.

I also use email to send reminders to you. So I will ask for an email address that you check on a regular basis. This is important because we only see each other a few times a week and sometimes important notes and messages need to be sent to you on the days the students do not attend. I also give you my cell number so that you can text me a quick message during the day if you need me to know something. I also will send the odd text if I have a question that comes up during the day or if I need a quick response.
Just a note: If I don't respond to your text....I more than likely did not get it (maybe we were away from the phone or busy during a lesson). So if it is urgent and I don't respond, phone the school office. This is important to know if you are texting me about an after school routine change. Just provide me enough time to respond and assume that if I didn't respond.....I didn't get it. The end of the day is very busy!
