Sensory Table Fun! Giving children a chance to play with different types of textures, tastes and objects helps them to build new ways of talking about the world. This play helps to develop fine motor skills as we pinch, pour, sift and measure. It also helps to regulate internal discomfort (such as restlessness or other types of agitation).
